396 infrastructure projects evaluated under PM Gati Shakti till June 2026

What the government said

• 396 infrastructure projects evaluated through the Network Planning Group (NPG) mechanism till June 2026 with an estimated cost of ₹18.66 Lakh Crore.
• 256 projects sanctioned, of which 198 are under implementation.
• ₹5,000 Crore provision made by the Ministry of Finance for States under the Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) 2022-23.
• 31 infrastructure projects in Andhra Pradesh evaluated through the NPG mechanism.
• 2 projects in Andhra Pradesh approved under SASCI Part-II: 46 MLD External Water Supply to MIH Kopparthy (₹171 Crore, 88% completed) and Railway Siding to MIH Kopparthy (₹31 Crore, 80% completed).
• 93 infrastructure projects in Andhra Pradesh are enlisted on the Project Monitoring Group (PMG) portal.
• The PMG mechanism has facilitated the resolution of 214 issues in Andhra Pradesh projects.
• No quantified year-wise targets have been set under the PM Gati Shakti initiative as it provides an integrated planning framework rather than specific annual targets.
