Textile exports rise 1.8% to ₹3,25,339 crore in 2025–26

• India’s textile and apparel exports stood at ₹3,25,339 crore in 2025–26, a 1.8% increase over 2024–25.
• Implementation of schemes including PM MITRA Parks, PLI for Textiles, National Technical Textiles Mission, and SAMARTH.
• Extension of the RODTEP Scheme up to 30 September 2026.
• Temporary exemption from customs duty on cotton imports (Heading 5201) from 1 June to 31 October 2026.
• Temporary exemption from customs duties on key man-made fibre inputs like PTA and MEG.
• Rationalisation of GST rates to correct the inverted duty structure in the man-made fibre value chain.
• Launch of the RELIEF initiative to support exporters affected by geopolitical disruptions in West Asia and maritime logistics.
