What the government said

• The project is divided into two packages: Package I (Addahole to Periya Shanthi, 15.13 km) has 98% physical progress, and Package II (Periya Shanthi to Bantwal, 48.48 km) has 94.21% physical progress.
• In Nellyadi, the SVUP-01 structure and 2.54 km service road are completed and open; the Flyover-01 has its Left Hand Side (LHS) open and Right Hand Side (RHS) closed; the Vertical Underpass (VUP-01) is closed.
• In Kalladka, the Flyover-01 and 5.99 km service road are completed and open for traffic.
• Work in approximately 1.3 km has been rescheduled due to a stay on the Elephant Underpass construction, compensation demands, and additional work.
• Bituminous resurfacing and safety signage have been installed at affected locations to ensure traffic diversion during the monsoon.
• The revised completion date for Package I is 30.03.2027.
• The revised completion date for Package II is 30.04.2027.
