• Irregular spending of GoI funds on schemes designed for more than 55 lpcd
• Inadmissible payment of centage charges
• Expenditure on Security deposit/bank guarantee booked as final expenditure
• Slow pace in implementation of schemes (51% of 5,318 works completed)
• 17% of works could not even commence
• Delays in obtaining road cutting sanctions (7,458 applications pending)
• Liquidity constraints affecting implementation
• Only 52.46% coverage of rural households with FHTCs by March 2024 (targeted 100%)
• 2,13,991 connections disconnected within one month
