EPC Contractor to bear full risk and cost of NH-4 rectification works

NHIDCL is inviting bids for short-term and permanent rectification works of damaged stretches on NH-4 (Km 242.00 to Km 298.00) in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, along with balance works of the project, to be executed at the risk and cost of the existing EPC Contractor.

Who can bid: Bidders must be experienced Road/Bridge Contractors/firms/organizations. They must have an average annual turnover of not less than Rs. 40 Lakh (40,00,000) during the last 5 years and have completed one similar work of similar nature during the last 5 years. Firms declared non-performing or blacklisted/debarred by MoRTH/NHAI/NHIDCL are excluded. The existing EPC Contractor, including its sister concerns, associates, affiliates, parent company, subsidiaries, or any entity with common ownership/control/management, is not eligible to participate individually or as part of a Joint Venture/Consortium/Sub-contractor. MSME registered firms are eligible for exemption from bid document costs upon producing documentary evidence, but no other criteria are diluted.
