Delhi's first electoral roll revision since 2002 begins June 30

It outlines the procedures, timelines, and requirements for citizens to ensure their names are correctly included in the final electoral roll.

Who it concerns: Citizens of India registered as electors in Delhi, Booth Level Officers (BLOs), and the Election Commission of India (ECI).

What the election office says

• The SIR process in Delhi runs from 30.06.2026 to 04.11.2026.
• House-to-house visits by BLOs for distributing and collecting Enumeration Forms occur from 30.06.2026 to 17.08.2026.
• The Draft Electoral Roll is published on 31.08.2026.
• The period for filing claims and objections is from 31.08.2026 to 30.09.2026.
• The Notice Phase and disposal of claims/objections run from 31.08.2026 to 29.10.2026.
• The Final Electoral Roll is published on 04.11.2026.
• Enumeration Forms can be filled online via https://voters.eci.gov.in or offline via BLOs.
• Providing an Aadhaar number in the Enumeration Form is optional.
• If an Enumeration Form is not returned, the elector's name will not appear in the Draft Electoral Roll.
• New electors who turn 18 on or before 01.10.2026 can apply for inclusion using Form 6 during the claims and objections period.
• Electors must provide specific supporting documents (such as Identity cards, Birth Certificates, or Passports) if they receive a notice during the Notice Phase.
